Cooking Service

I am currently offering a weekly cooking service, as well as "a la carte" options. 

While everything I cook is vegan--meaning no meat, no dairy, no eggs, no animal products whatsoever--.you do not have to be a vegan to appreciate my cooking. I embrace all food lovers and styles of eating, while doing my best to promote balance and good health. My food is healthy, varied and delicious--perfect all on its own, or to help round out your other omnivorous choices.

Weekly Food Service

My weekly food service includes 6 homecooked plant-based dishes, plus an optional sweet treat.  

Each week I make a varied menu of vegetable/fruit, bean and whole grain dishes that complement each other, so you can combine them several ways. 

Sample Menu:

  • Red Lentil-Cauliflower Daal with Panch Phoran Spice
  • Sprouted Mung Beans with Lemon and Coconut
  • Minestrone Soup with Cannellini Beans
  • Garlic Pesto Green Beans
  • Quinoa Salad with Black Beans, Peaches and Peppers
  • Homemade Veggie Sausage sauteed with Kale
  • Mexican Hot Chocolate Cookies

How you use them is up to you. You might take the convenient containers to work and have healthy lunches all week. You might share them with your family and take a few nights off of cooking. Or, you might use them as sides to round out your own proteins.

This service provides an excellent value. I do all the planning, shopping, prepping and cooking for you, using high quality ingredients I obtain from farmers' markets, specialty markets and grocery stores. The beans have been soaked and slow-cooked, the vegetables peeled and cut fresh by hand. I go easy on the salt and oil so the flavors of the veggies shine through, and you can spice things up to your own degree.

All in all, you get more variety and quality, and less fat and additives, than you would for this price at, for example, the Whole Foods deli case.

For more specialized diets, I am happy to accommodate soy-free, nut-free, and gluten-free diets.  We will discuss your individual needs and tastes.

Weekly food service is $60.00 (extra charge for delivery, or you may pick up at my home in Venice)

I'm gearing up for the holidays! I make savory, awesome Autumn dishes and insanely delicious baked goods that you can be proud to serve at any holiday gathering--so, you know there'll be something vegan and delicious on the table.

  • Pumpkin-Cashew "Cheese" Penne with Sage Crumb topping (by the pan)
  • Lasagna with Tofu Ricotta, Spinach and Homemade Veggie Sausage (by the pan)
  • Pumpkin Stew with Red Lentils and Coconut Milk
  • Spicy Seitan "Salami" Log
  • Pumpkin or Apple Pie
  • Cookies, Cookies, Cookies!
